A week in Madrid, and five films the participants made themselves.
A week in Madrid with young participants from across Europe, exploring quantum ideas through language, play, and making. My role combined documentary photography with hands-on mentorship: guiding small teams as they developed short films that translate quantum concepts into clear, human stories.
From early script drafts to final cuts, I supported each group's process, visual approach, shooting, sound, and edit rhythm, so their ideas could land with clarity and personality.
The result is a set of student-made films that explain topics like superposition, uncertainty, and interference in their own voices, plus a documentary photo series that captures some of the curiosity, collaboration, and momentum of the week.
Superposition, uncertainty, interference and the quantum leap, explained by the people who had just learned them. Sound is off until you ask for it.
